There are several ways you can delete a filed in iReport
Option 1
1) Click on the field you wish to delete; you'll notice that the field box becomes highlighted in yellow.
2) Right click and select Delete.
The field is deleted from the template.
Option 2
1) Click on the field you wish to delete; you'll notice that the field box becomes highlighted in yellow.
2) Hit the delete key on your keyboard and the field will be deleted from the template.
Option 3
1) In the Report Inspector click on the name of the field you wish to delete. That field will become highlighted in the report inspector and in your template.
2) Right click on the Report Inspector field and select Delete (or hit the delete key on your keyboard).
The field will be deleted from the Report Inspector and the template.
