When you look up a substance in SciFinder you can find physical constants (both predicted and experimentally obtained), and you can often find experimentally obtained spectra.

SciFinder Substance Searching

You can search for substances by:

Chemical structure (by drawing in the structure editor)
Molecular formula
Common name or synonym (by using the Substance Identifier search option)

You can also choose a property, usually specifying a range (ie, for boiling point), and search for substances that share it.
