Option 1: search by keywords in your target language
From uccs.edu/library, select either "OneSearch" or "Books/Catalog," and enter your search terms translated from English into your target language.
Option 2: use advanced search to limit by language
From uccs.edu/library, select "Books/Catalog," then select the "Advanced Catalog Search" link. Enter your search terms, and under "Add Limits" select your target language. Then click "Submit."
Option 3: search your language as a subject term
From uccs.edu/library, select "Books/Catalog," then select "Subject from the dropdown menu. Then enter your language (i.e. Spanish, Russian, etc) and search. This will return all of the subject headings that include your search term in them. Look for headings like "[Language] American Literature," "[Language] drama," or "[Language] poetry."
None of these are foolproof, but they will help you limit your results or browse in the catalog. If you want to sit down and work out a more directed search strategy, set up a meeting with your liaison librarian.
