What can the library help me with?

You can use the Library to find and access:

  • Mathematical journals that publish research articles
  • Print and online books related to a variety of mathematical topics - including math history
  • Print and online books with practice problems in subjects like algebra, calculus, or pre-calculus

Who can help me with this?

If you want help finding any of these resources, you can contact me (Norah Mazel) with the information on the left side of this page. I am the subject librarian that specialized in math.

Does the Library offer math tutoring?

No. If you need help with math homework or test preparation, use the Excel Mathematics Center. They provide tutoring and peer assisted study sessions.

Does the Library have study materials for the Accuplacer exam?

No. We do not have any materials to help you prep for math class placement at UCCS. You can find information about this exam and links to test prep materials through the Mathematics Department website.
