Use this link to log in to RefWorks.

RefWorks lets you save information about your research sources, format citations or bibliographies for those sources, store PDF files, and share your research with others. UCCS students and faculty have access to RefWorks. You can set up an account with your UCCS email address.

RefWorks can make mistakes. Consult a style guide/manual to proofread your citations before turning in an assignment.

Other Citation Managers

The following citation management tools are available for free online. The Kraemer Family Library does not offer support for any of these, so we are unable to help with any problems you may encounter while using them.

BibMe
BibMe will format citations in APA, MLA, and Chicago style.
CiteULike
You need to create a free account to use CiteULike. It allows you to store lists of references, and full text PDFs of articles.
EasyBib
EasyBib is only free if you want to format citations in MLA style. APA, AMA, Chicago, and ACS citations are available with a paid subscription to EasyBib Pro.
Mendeley
You can sign up for a free Mendeley account and access it online or on your computer or iPad. The references you save can be synced across all of these platforms.
ProQuest Flow
You can use your UCCS email address to sign up for a free ProQuest Flow account. Flow is a cloud based tool, so you can log in and use it anywhere you have an internet connection.
Zotero
You can download Zotero on your computer and add browser extensions for Firefox, Chrome or Safari so that you can import references directly from your web browser. Or you can use Zotero for Firefox to save references and format citations online.
