OneSearch is located on the library's homepage. I suggest using the keywords for your topic to start a search, and then use the limiters on the left-hand side of the results page to narrow to Newspaper Article & Magazine Article. You can go further and put the title of news source you want to search, too.

Does the library have this newspaper or magazine?

Use the Search for Periodical link on the library homepage to search for specific newspaper, magazine, or journal titles.

To do this:

  1. Type in the title of the newspaper, magazine, or journal you are looking for.
  2. If available, it will provide a date range and link to the database where the periodical can be found.
  3. Click the database link to access the resource.

 

 

Searching within a title or by a data range

Once you are inside the database, you can look for a specific topic, article title, or browse by when it was published. To do this:

  • type a specific article title, topic, or keyword, or into the search box, or
  • use the plus sign next to the year to browse by publishing date.

use the searchbox to search for keywords, or use the dates on the right-hand side browse by date
