Automatically generated APA citations are not perfect and it is good practice to review the the official APA Style guide. The Library has the print version of the APA publication manual and you can also find it online at:
Both Sociological Abstracts and the Criminal Justice Database are on the ProQuest database platform and can create APA (7th edition) citations from your search.
Use the cite button that looks like a large quotation symbol in a circle. Select APA 7th from the citation style list and copy and paste the generated APA citation into your own document.
Some databases, like the Social Sciences Citation Index, do not include an automatic citation generator. However, OneSearch always has a citation generator. Simply paste the article's title into OneSearch (use OneSearch box below or use OneSearch from the UCCS Library site) and click on the Cite this Item button to create the citation.
