The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health (CINAHL) database provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health. Virtually all English-language publications are indexed along with the publications of the American Nurses Association and the National League for Nursing. Selected journals are also indexed in the areas of consumer health, biomedicine, and health sciences librarianship. In total, more than 500 journals are regularly indexed; online abstracts are available for more than 150 of these titles. A comprehensive database of U.S. and international criminal justice journals. Great for searching in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law and industrial security.

ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center, contains more than one million records related to education research. This database searches scholarly and trade journal articles as well as some full-text publications.

PILOTS This link opens in a new window
PILOTS, or Published International Literature On Traumatic Stress database, covers literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, this database is updated monthly and is not limited to literature on PTSD among veterans.
