You can find books and movies in OneSearch or in the library catalog, which excludes records for articles leaving behind books and movies. To reach the catalog, select the Books/Catalog tab above the OneSearch box on the library home page.
Check your spelling. The catalog is very picky.
Did you search for a long phrase? Use the fewest number of words possible.
Try changing your search terms, or search other libraries with Prospector.
Add an additional search term to get more specific.
To find a print book, first identify the correct section of the library by checking the location of the book. Most books are in the "Main Collection" which is on the 3rd floor.

If you are unable to locate the book or the book is missing, ask for help at the Circulation Desk.
No UCCS or Prospector holdings for your book?
Request that the book be delivered to the Kraemer Family Library by using ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan).
First time users must create an account. You will need to use your UCCS email address and student ID number.
Call Number : This tells you where to find your book on the shelf. See Find a Book on the Shelves to find out how to read your call number. Books are organized by subject, which means other books on this topic will be shelved near this book.
Subject: This tells you what LC subject areas your book falls under. If you click these, you can look at similar subjects or other books on this subject.
Status: This tells you if the book is available for you to check out. If not, use Prospector to search for other copies of the book at nearby libraries.
Location: This tells you what general area of the library your book is in.
