URJ's Scope and Audience

The URJ publishes high quality research and creative works produced by undergraduate students across the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Typical submissions include, but are not limited to, research papers, undergraduate theses, informal proposals, and longer creative writing.

The URJ is an interdisciplinary journal and is meant to represent all areas of undergraduate research found at the university. All works are published by a UCCS undergraduate student or in conjunction with a UCCS undergraduate research program. Undergraduate and faculty research collaborations are also welcomed.

URJ's Peer Review Process

The URJ uses a blind peer review process.

URJ's peer reviewers are students at UCCS and are encouraged to provide useful comments so authors can improve their writing.

URJ and Your Copyright

The URJ is an open access journal and uses a Creative Commons license that allows authors to retain full control over their copyright so they may republish their manuscripts as they see fit.
