Any class you take from the UCCS College of Education will require APA style citation which is the official format for the American Psychological Association. The most recent edition is the APA 7th edition.

APA Citations in Subject Specific Databases

Most library databases have built-in features to automatically create APA citations of the journal articles and other research you find in them.

Creating APA Citation Using OneSearch

Some databases, like the Social Sciences Citation Index, do not include an automatic citation generator. However, OneSearch always has a citation generator. Simply paste the article's title into OneSearch (use OneSearch box below or use OneSearch from the UCCS Library site) and click on the Cite this Item button to create the citation.
