I'm not a student at UCCS. Can I still use the library?

Yes!  Members of the public are welcome to use the Kraemer Family Library.  We have public computers for you to use, and you can also check-out books and other library materials.  The Books tab at the top of this guide will explain what you need to register for a library account.  Visit the library's website to learn what we have to offer.

Welcome to our sustainability guide!  Use the tabs above to locate materials on local food and sustainable agriculture, and maybe find a recipe or two!

So, what does sustainable even mean?

According to the EPA, "Sustainability is based on a simple principle: Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment.  Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations."
