A few things you need to know to make the research process easier:
Many library resources are available 24/7 from your home computer, but you need to use the VPN to access them. Find out about connecting to the library from off campus.
Need to request a journal article that we don't have access to? Make a request in ILLiad, and receive a PDF copy that you can access through our interlibrary loan system.
Manage your library account online. Check the status of your holds and requests, or renew your books.
See all the databases that the library owns. You can browse them by subject area or alphabetically.
Introduction

This guide is a pathfinder to the resources and tools at Kraemer Family Library that will help you succeed in completing you senior theses. The guide includes several tabs above that highlight a variety of sources:
- Finding Books includes information about how to search the Kraemer Library catalog and the Prospector database for print and electronic books and multimedia. You will also find information about Boolean operators and how to read Library of Congress call numbers.
- Primary Sources provides a definition and description of a primary source and lists special collections in the Kraemer Family Library.
- Finding Articles lists and describes databases that will help you find journal articles.
- Newspapers lists news sources that may be helpful for your research.
- ILLiad Interlibrary Loan will show you how to order materials not available through Kraemer Family Library.
