Introduction
This guide is divided into several sections that are designed to help you identify a variety of research materials at or through Kraemer Family Library. It will also provide guidance on locating and requesting materials from other libraries. Just click on the tabs to learn more about the wealth of resources and tools that the Library provides.
As you conduct research for this course, consider visiting other academic libraries in the state. There are many electronic and print sources at other libraries that can only be accessed by going to the library where they are available. Search the websites of these libraries before you travel to determine what sources are available. Links to regional libraries are available from the Kraemer Family Library web site.You also have reciprocal borrowing privileges at most academic libraries in the state. If you visit one of these libraries and find circulating materials that you would like to check out directly, you may do so.
Before We Get Started
You'll be using a lot of Kraemer Family Library resources while researching your assignments. There are a few steps you need to take to ensure that your library use goes smoothly.

Set Up Your Library Account You can't check out any books (or request books from other libraries) until you take your ID card to the circulation desk and activate your account. |
Install the VPN You can access electronic resources 24/7 from home...as long as you are logged into the Library VPN (Transporter). Install it on your home computer as soon as possible. |
Create an ILLiad Account Need a journal article that we don't have access to? Create an ILLiad account so that you can request PDF copies from another library. |
