What About Scholarly Journal Articles?

Were you told that you need scholarly, or peer reviewed, articles? We have another guide that is just about finding and identifying scholarly sources:

ILLiad: Interlibrary Loan for Journal Articles

No UCCS holdings for your article?

ILLiad: Interlibrary Loan

Request that the article be delivered to you as a PDF by using ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan). This usually takes a few days - or less!

First time users must create an account. You will need to use your UCCS email address and student ID number.

Other Places to Search for Books

If the Kraemer Family Library doesn't own the books you are looking for, search other library catalogs and place a request to have the items sent here for free. When searching for books and movies, search the following tools in this order:

  1. Prospector Catalog - Find and request resources from other Colorado libraries. Place requests with the barcode number on your UCCS ID. Books take several days to arrive and can be renewed once. You cannot access other libraries' electronic resources.
  2. WorldCat - Find and request resources from all over the world. Books can take up to a few weeks to arrive. Loan period and number of renewals are determined by the library lending the book. You must create an ILLiad account to make WorldCat requests.
