COMM 3240: Business and Professional Communication: Finding Articles

Starting Out

When you need to find journal articles, use library databases! The Kraemer Family Library has access to over 100 different databases and each one offers different features and searches different journals. This guide recommends a few databases, but you may browse them all at Library Databases.

Databases that cover many subjects

Most databases allow you to limit your search to "peer reviewed" or "scholarly" journals, but still check the article to verify it is not an editorial or letter which do not usually go through a peer reviewed process.

Narrower subject databases

Business databases

These databases are good for articles on general business topics.
