Before We Get Started
Researching can be a challenge, but we are here to help you find resources you might need to complete your coursework.
Contact us via email, phone, face-to-face or chat us directly from this page. Individual subject librarians are available by email or you can make a research appointment.
You'll be using a lot of Kraemer Family Library resources while researching your assignments. There are a few steps you need to take to ensure that your library use goes smoothly.
- Set up your library account - You can't check out any books from the library (or request books from other libraries) until you take your ID card to the circulation desk and activate your account.
- Install the VPN - You can access electronic resources 24/7 from home...as long as you are logged into the Library VPN (Transporter). Install it on your home computer as soon as possible.
When you are off-campus, you’ll need to use the Library VPN to access our resources. After installing it you will need to login to the VPN each time you would like to use the library resources from off-campus.
If you are using the VPN for the first time (or on a new computer) you'll need to install it. The directions are here, or available from our library homepage.
