Print Templates 102: Home

Welcome!

This guide builds on the basic skills outlined in our Print Templates 101 guide. Some of the advanced techniques you'll find in this guide include:

  • Adding Images to a template
  • Using JavaScript
  • Adding Barcodes

We provide many examples which illustrate how to use both basic and advanced techniques to format templates to suit your institutions needs.

About this Guide

This guide was created in support of the Print Templates 102 presentation given at the 2013/2014 IUG conference by Shad Harder and Carla Myers.

Important: When this Guide was originally created back in 2012 we were running Millennium 2011, release 1.3 at our institution. As such, all of the Millennium screen shots and manual references will be from this version. We are now currently running Sierra, and the Sierra screenshots featured in this guide were taken while we were running version 1.1.3_4.
