Hello, I’m Chris and I am the librarian for the College of Education. This is a general guide for your department, however there may also be a class specific guide created for your course.

You can contact me directly through the link in my profile, or contact the reference desk with any questions. The chat box is in the lower right hand corner of this page.

I’m available by email or you can make a research appointment to meet in person.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Borrow books and articles from other libraries.

Available through our homepage.

If it is your first time using ILLiad, please create a new account. You will need to use your UCCS email address and student ID number when creating the account so we will know you are currently affiliated.

Articles are available electronically for download. Books will be delivered to the library via courier for pickup at the library.

LibGuides 101

What's a LibGuide? A LibGuide is a specific library guide for a class or topic. Since it is online, many links are included... but if you prefer a paper handout, you can always print the guide.

Is this the library homepage? No, the library homepage is here, but this is the page for your class.

Who maintains the LibGuides? Each LibGuide is maintained by one of our subject librarians. Guides for the College of Education are maintained by Beth.

Have a suggestion for a LibGuide? Talk to one of our subject librarians.

Off-Campus Access

When you are off-campus, you’ll need to use the Library VPN to access our resources. After installing it you will need to login to the VPN each time you would like to use the library resources from off-campus.

If you are using the VPN for the first time (or on a new computer) you'll need to install it. The directions are here, or available from our library homepage.
