Welcome!

Hello, I’m Chris and I am the librarian for the College of Education. I am here to help you find any resources you might need to complete your coursework.

You can contact me directly through the link in my profile, or contact the reference desk with any questions. The chat box is in the lower right hand corner of this page. I’m available by email or you can make a research appointment to meet in person.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Borrow books and articles from other libraries.

Available through our homepage.

If it is your first time using ILLiad, please create a new account. You will need to use your UCCS email address and student ID number when creating the account so we will know you are currently affiliated.

Articles are available electronically for download. Books will be delivered to the library via courier for pickup at the library.

Before We Get Started

You'll be using a lot of Kraemer Family Library resources while researching your assignments. These are the steps to take to ensure that your library access goes smoothly.

  1. For physical books and videos: Set up your library account - You can't check out any books from the library (or request books from other libraries) until you take your ID card to the circulation desk and activate your account.
  2. For journal articles, ebooks, and online videos: Install the VPN - You can access electronic resources 24/7 from home...as long as you are logged into the Library VPN (Transporter). Install it on your home computer as soon as possible.

    Off-Campus Access

When you are off-campus, you’ll need to use the Library VPN to access our resources. After installing it you will need to login to the VPN each time you would like to use the library resources from off-campus.

If you are using the VPN for the first time (or on a new computer) you'll need to install it. The directions are here, or available from our library homepage.
